Love This Song!

Honestly, what even is the point of adding lyrics to Xenogenesis? The original was already good, there doesn't need to be lyrics in it, I just feel it's unnecessary.

Edit: i noticed that some people weren't happy with my review, so I decided that I might give this song a chance. I do think the song is good, so I'm giving it another star, but I still stand by the fact that I think it's unnecessary. However, I will explain further as to why I think it, so you all understand my thoughts.

Xenogenesis is, without a doubt, a really nice song from TheFatRat. A few months ago, though, the song has managed to get really popular as a meme, known as the outro song. I thought it was really cool that the song has managed to get popular. Then, this song got released, which is basically Xenogenesis, but with lyrics.

Now, here's where I start talking about why I'm not a fan of this version. You may not like what you're about to read, as I'm going to give my pure thoughts on this song. Just know that my thoughts on this will likely not change.

I think this song is basically TheFatRat latching on to the meme that is the outro song. I wouldn't say that it's him capitalising off of it, since he is known for making music that anyone can use freely. However, I feel like he did this specifically because of the meme, and if you think I'm wrong, it literally says 'Outro Song' in the title of this song. Perhaps it's not for him. Maybe it's for NEFFEX. Maybe he found out about this song from the meme and thought "hey, this is actually pretty good, I want to sing to this", and that would be completely ok. But I just think there isn't much soul put into this, so that's why I don't think it's a good song. Plus, the vocals to me don't really improve the original song, although I do kinda like the rap section.
