Yes yes, the sound of the good old days B)
I honestly am terrible with putting a genre to a sound. I just hear something in my head that isn't voices and I put it together and I don't know exactly where it belongs. Like books exist but my mind is oblivious to a Dewey Decimal system. I know this sounds relative to an 80s pop/wave beat but I can't really figure out if its rock pop or something other.
But I named this Montgomery Ward because my mom would take me there when it was on its way out (unbeknownst to me) and I remember that it was one of the last bits of the 80s. Malls had gone through revamping and so they had more of the 90s look but the department stores of old always had that smell and style that I never saw again after they closed. It was the end of a decade that I only got a glimpse of, but was glad I did.

would be a calm sound for a game,
nya
I agree what Niko said, it does sound like something you'd hear while casually shopping haha. Definitely gives off a mall vibe too with an 80s feel and a bit on the mysterious side too. I love the progression, the soothing sounds, and some of the retro sample/midi type instruments like the metal guitar you had around 2:10. Really cool once again, keep it up :D
Like a shopping montage going around trying on various "80s" outfits with your bestie and walking out with both hands full of store bags.
That sounds a little bit like something I'd hear in supermarkets.
(I read the description after writing a comment, and... I can see why >D)
Oh man you're right. This is exactly like some of the old school songs that get played at supermarkets. <_< Feeling oooooold.
