more electronica dude, but still it's not bad. listen to my latest tracks for some jungle goodness bra.
I played this piece on the piano and wanted to experiment a little bit with it on the computer. So, I first used my digital piano to check out what different sounds would... well... sound good with the melody, and I decided I wanted to use a metal guitar. Well, that didn't work out... but while I was listening to techno and trance all day--or just electronic music, period--, I realized the potential of using synthetic instruments instead of real samples. So, this is what I got after a few hours (really a day and a few hours, but I won't count break-times.) Still, I had ample time to rest and maybe think about what I was going to do.
However, I didn't plan on anything and just started experimenting even more after sitting down with my sequencer (Reason 4.0, by the way.) I had written in the melody, and had tried different sounds, but they each sounded too... preset-ish. So I modified them a little bit with the controllers and came out with a really cool plucking noise for the melody. More and more, I just kept adding to the song... bass, drums, etc. The drums were the hardest part to figure out, though, since the drums can turn any trance, house, or techno song into a jungle just like that. Well, I decided on jungle remembering the fullness of Dieselboy's tracks, and even Newground's very own ParagonX9's tracks.
So, after some good amount of work, mixing, and mastering... I got the product you are now listening to. Music has literally saved my life.
Thanks for listening,

hmmm
If you were aiming for DnB, you should rip the bass some more, and possibly speed it up some. Not too much though. Should have the bass do something other than just follow the main melody. Drums were nice, except for the kick. Deep and weak.
It was nice though. Keep up the good work!
Wow
This just sounds very cool, its a bit strange although :P
but good job, nice drums :)
5/8
He he. Strange is right... but I, myself, am what the society has probably by now considered strange... and my music kind of reflects off of that.
But, thank you for your very kind words... and I'm glad you enjoyed the drums. =]
Take care,

Question
Just wondering what programs you use to create your sounds?
Sure. I use Propellerheads Reason 4.0 for most of the music I do. Hope this helps.

Great!
Yeah, this is great! Good to listen to. It combines a classical like melody with modern instruments and thereby puts a new spin on things. Very pleasant to listen to. 5/5 and keep up the good work!
