It takes a lot of effort to raise children. That endeavor is exponentially more difficult when a child comes up in a broken home. It's such a shame that we allow such things to occur in a first world country. I don't see any reason why children should go without proper educational attainment or 3 square meals a day in the United States. It boggles my mind that we're so rich, but so poor. Funnel the money into more social programs damnit!
