So, I decided to remake one of my older songs for the first time!
Out of my older tracks, I’ve always liked “P1X3L” the most, as I think that it has a lot of cool arrangement ideas and I like the overall vibe. Because of this, I decided to remake it, and although I created this version from scratch, I tried to stay pretty faithful to the original. Although it’s still far from perfect and likely never will be, I think I did a good job at improving what I liked about the original and making an all-around better track!

It’s actually a drum kit on GarageBand called Metallic Edges, which I then proceeded to bitcrush a ton
this is really good! i like the sharp synth that plays the chords; despite it being a "sharp" sound, it doesn't sound painful or abrupt. there's a perfect amount of sub-bass too.
only complaint is the clap sound is a bit cheap/simple, something more layered or maybe different claps at different points in the song could make it better

Thanks! The clap is bitcrushed beyond all recognition so that’s prolly why it sounds cheap, I def get what you mean tho
