In America, there are no legends. Only corporate interests and those who choose to go on a path of self-destruction against those interests. Unbeknownst to most, there is a third option. Leaving a mark on the country permanently and create a "Blazing" show of resistance. Yousef Bolton, sometimes referred to as "Blazing Bolton", was considered a wanted political prisoner on the federal level. Born in rural Middle America and eventually moved to Los Angeles, he was exposed to the near complete corporate control the city was under. He became what was known as a "runner". He became a rebel, anarchist agitator against the country. He would do illegal things to obtain money, sometimes this would entail stealing items from a large corporation. This time, it was the Argon corporation, a close partner with the US military and arms supplier. At one point, he stole a piece of experimental technology from Argon. This would allow the user of the technology to link into military gattling guns directly.

All of that is nice, but why is he known as "Blazing Bolton"? At one point, he was suppose to take a prototype design for something that would effectively extend someone's life. This would likely only be used for corporate interests only, never to be distributed to anyone, bar the other non-corporate influenced countries that are making their own prototypes of this. In doing this, he would go down as a legend. The plan was simple, get in with the team, grab the prototype, then get the hell out of there. It didn't go as planned, as the building was on high alert: Argon knew he was coming. A police helicopter was dispatched to the area. Immediately, the group started firing. Splitting to two, Yousef was able to fight his way to where the prototype was, but as he was trying to get back to the group, he was severely injured. He was now on borrowed time, and his plan was to suicide bomb the building. Perhaps, an act of terrorism, perhaps a show that the resistance in America is still a thing. By finding a server room while still bleeding out, he planted backup explosive charges. Created by an unknown business in Anatolia, this was promised to have enough power to take out a skyscraper. And it sure did. When he set it off, he went off in a blaze of glory, remembered by many for his fight against corporatism. The entire building went down with him and any corporate members in it. The building fell on top of the police helicopter at the same time, killing all the capitalist pigs, bastard cops, and corporate members.

In 2282 America, he is remembered more than ever. As America seems to decline, stagnating economy and massive political unrest, many turn to what he did as a sign that America needs to change. As corporations influence everything in the economy, the South becomes a hellhole for any minorities, socialist elements in New England increase their actions, and the midwest is picking a different form of conservatism, it seems likely that at any point America will shatter into pieces. May god put to rest the old soul of America.

Thanks for listening, if you liked this song is available on streaming services like Spotify and Itunes. (May take a couple days from when I upload it though)

This song was largely created and inspired by the works of CD-Project Red's Cyberpunk 2077 and the entire Shadowrun tabletop game. There isn't enough of this stuff around, and I'm going to rectify that :)
