I enjoy extracing audio samples from psx isos using an emulator to make these type of beats. The session includes ViperTheRapper's acapella hook from Wild Child ("this money, this cash"). The style is largely inspired by Magenta Skull's Y2k-type mashups, and the lyrics are innoculated with edgerunner themes I got interested in while watching various Japanese New Flesh-era cyberpunk films. Bonus: I pulled in a VHS version of that cheesy 90s film Hackers!
