HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
BEHOLD!!! 10+ years of improv looper jams condensed into one (obscenely) long track!
Background: When my creative energy is flowing, I like to plug my synth rack into a looper pedal and just start playing. I'm never quite sure what is going to come out - Sometimes it's laughably awful, but sometimes there's an idea worth capturing. These are those ideas.
The Process: The looper pedal I'm using (see equipment list) has 99 memory slots, and, well, I've finally filled them all up. To preserve the work prior to resetting the looper's memory, I decided to record each of the loops (Channel A, Channel B, Channel A + B combined, and the occasional looper pedal FX) into my DAW ---- But I didn't stop there! After all of the tracks were recorded, I then mixed and mastered each of them individually. And because I'm an absolute madman, I spent additional time trying to make each loop fade perfectly from one to the next.
In Conclusion: I know that, with 90+ tracks over an 85 minute span, nobody is going to like this whole whatever-it-is (and if you say you do, I don't think I trust you 0.o). Based on the sheer diversity and volume alone, I'm confident that at least one of these will jive wit cha.
Regardless, Newgrounds, ole' buddy ole' pal - you all are hearing it first here. For those interested, I'll post an update on my profile page whenever this monstrosity becomes available on other streaming platforms.
