I think I made this beat sometime in 2012. I added the bassline in 2013 or 2014.

It will now be used as the penultimate track on my upcoming Fae Kings and Elven Queens EP.

I absolutely adored Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' the first time I heard it back in high school. Then again, Billie's voice is probably one of the reasons I love Beth Gibbons' voice so much. Beth modeled her voice after Billie's. If I'm recalling correctly, I read that in one of the few interviews Beth did back in the day.
