Glad to post some more music here for once. I actually have a whole EP on the way (which might not be posted on NG, but will likely be on my Bandcamp), but I've been having trouble getting it mastered so it might not come out for a couple months or so. So hopefully this will make you happy in the meantime.

In the past few years, I've been really getting into microtonality in music. I'd eventually like to make some where it's untranslatable into 12-tone equal temperament and uses an incompatible tonal structure. Some examples would perhaps be mavila temperament, where the fifth is so flat that it doesn't even stack to make a major or minor scale on its own, or Bohlen-Pierce, where the scale repeats at the perfect twelfth (a tripling in frequency), instead of the octave (a doubling in frequency).

Anyway, this track uses a scale in 27-tone equal temperament. The synth sounds are all ones I made from a free plugin called Surge, and the drum sounds are a combination of my own and ones curated from SampleSwap (as far as I know, they're public domain). Hope you enjoy!
