Use edits*
Try filtering the instrument, and add something else besides that one instrument. And use an equalizer, because the bass should be deeper and the attacks could be muted a little bit.

Not really funk, but not really ambient so I put it in funk. It gets monotonous after awhile.
It is just a loop.
This is just a loop, you need to put in a lot more stuff in there man.
