Thank you for making this, this was so much fun. See y’all next time for another fire poetry
Thank you so much!
IMO the atmosphere was intense and dramatic (think it was due to the echo effect on the voice and the solo violin with streched out notes), the voice was clear in diction and emphatic in tone, adequate volume (pending more to the loud but without reaching a scream), all of which I think help well to make an annoucement sort of thing for the event, if that was the goal (I interpret so).
The drum beats during the name listing I believe worked well for showcasing a noticeable rhythm that one could tie to the rhythm of many kinds of poetry.
The last part with the lines that felt very fluent, genuine and improv-like to me also I believe falls perfectly in line with the idea of the event, even if improv on it is not necessary for participants (though we did see some of that then, heh). I also think the short, rhymed verses at the end helped with fluidity (and also to make us think of poetry).
I'm docking points for I felt the name listing was a bit repetitive with the beats (even though I still commend the rhythm like I said), I think I captured slight differences in intonation through the names' pronunciations so I don't see why not the idea of on-point notes from different instruments or something else just for variety.
And speaking of variety, I believe a higher degree of it for the melody, different sections, changes in the pace/speed/rhythm/idk or something like that would also be nice, maybe around 1:05 at least? Even for an announcement.
My opinion here. Still, rock solid stuff, awesome work!
Thank you so much, Ferstofus.
I'm always happy to receive feedback, and I deeply appreciate you sharing your opinions. You are awesome. Yes, your interpretation is right. My goal was to make an announcement for the event, and I'm really appreciative and thankful that you participate and share your poem about world peace. It's very beautiful and kind of you. I deeply admire your ability to put into words your experience with the audio.
I wish I can do the same, though I struggle immensely with sharing my opinions, and I admire your ability to thoughtfully communicate your experience. Yes, I agree with you. I wish there was also more variation, though I find it difficult and challenging to do so because it doesn't come naturally to me.
I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my perspective with you.
There is great power in listening to music and interacting with art, understanding the elements of communication of emotions and ideas. We are all artists; everybody is a creator.
Communication is an art form, and being able to interact with media, witness media, and understand ideas and perspectives from art is also an art.
Communicating with people is an art, and listening is an art.
Art is communication.
WE ARE ALL ART.
You are awesome, Ferstofus!
Thats ME!!!
