this is part of my WIP Dante's Inferno inspired album where i make music inspired by the 9 circles of hell. this one being of the 1st circle of hell.
Limbo: The 1st circle of hell, a realm of the unbaptized souls and souls that lived before the time of Christ. (from Canto IV of Dante's: Inferno). Or the judgement panel of jurisdiction over weather a soul goes to Heaven or Hell (based off of Judaism's version of the concept of Limbo)
This song is what i imagine the 1st layer of hell to sound like, a judgement opera, and voice of reason determining weather you go to eternal paradise, or damnation. In this case (and in theme of the Dante's: Inferno) the latter, this is your song as you are ultimately determined to your sins as wrongful and ultimately sent through each circle as punishment.
most of sound design elements were done from scratch, with some drum loops sent through some extreme compression and analog hardware.
