I was still in the mood for making a new song, so I came up with this boss battle theme that (I hope) would fit well in an Extra Stage in a Touhou-like game.


Originally, when I first wrote this, it was meant to be just for my sona Cal, but after some thinking, I had been enamored by Philippine mythology, so it was becoming more inspired by the Bakunawa, the moon-eating serpent dragon of Bisaya and Bicolano mythology.


I'm honestly still figuring out how to write the story description on how the Bakunawa would have caused the megalopolitan sprawl in the Protean Society, but I had been trying as much as I can to research about the topic.
