Here's a little ditty we made in 2017 which was used in the pilot for The Aussie Goldmine's animated series, before that got cancelled and the idea was spawned to turn the show into a webcomic instead.

This track will be reused for the upcoming animated series The Aussie Goldmine: Explicit Edition (2024) in Episode 1: Go for Gold! and then updated and remixed versions of it will be used for the remaining episodes of that series.

The piece was inspired by the story of a miner who dug all day for precious metals whilst imagining the praise he'd receive from his family and friends once he found something valuable (hence the intermittent clapping). The story ends with him dying alone because he never did find anything. 24K tragic.
