Another track I made for Silent Facility, it took a while to make (3 months!) so I'd love it if you watched it!
This track actually went through a few iterations that I'll link here so you can listen to:
When I initially pitched the idea of an original soundtrack for the film I presented several tests using a 303 I owned as a "theme" of sorts for the Silents, they're post-processed to hell and back, but I do still like them. Unfortunately, Cliff felt they were too "Drum & Bass-y" for the Film, so I went back to the drawing board and had an idea to tie the NNI's "broken computer" vibes; that idea was the Commodore 64, which I combined with a new 303 melody, 808 drums and a pretty bad attempt at sampling. I did like the track, but couldn't come up with an idea about where to take it next, so it was also scrapped. After this I enlisted my friend MANASALL for help, and he produced this early track using a custom chipset, but he never finished it, so I had to make an original one.
That was a lot, wow, but these were all very different versions of tracks that I had named as "Arisal", which I had always intended to appear at the movie's climax, however if you watched the film you'll find it ended up as a credits track since Silence took the climax slot; Why? Well simply put, a variant of Saturday Mornings Forever we had initially used for the credits didn't really wasn't fitting, so we needed a quick replacement, and this was the only finished track I'd made which was yet to be used and fitted, in retroscpect I should've paid more attention to sound clipping on it though.
As with last time, credits to brickblock369's FM Instrument Pack, which I used heavily here in my FM instruments, and if you want to use this track for anything, message me and we can discuss!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
