It's hard to release music when most of the stuff I work on these days are cues for films.
One of my plans to fix this is to try to release "color sketches" which will be short ideas exploring blending of colors and sounds. I don't want to get too caught up in trying to create rules for myself, so for now it's just going to be whatever I feel like working on.
I LOVE the sound of slide guitars with tons of ethereal reverb, so this sketch started as just that...lapsteel (with aftermarket benders added) with plenty of reverb and delay. The rest of the instruments were added as needed to fill out the idea.

Wow, this sets the scene nicely. Love how each chord takes its time to develop - every note has a shape here. Just really beautiful, organic-sounding, refreshing music. If I ever take a vacation in Oklahoma or something, this will be my soundtrack. ^_^

Sure is! Inexpensive and sounds pretty good. I added benders to it too after watching Troy Brenningmeyer's video on them.

Thanks! I've never been the type of person who puts stuff out regularly, but I'd like to try. I tend to overthink things a lot which slows things down, but I'm trying to get better at it. We'll see where this leads.
