So much time that I didn’t listen to your tracks. This is wonderful. I see around me so many flowers and birds when I close my eyes.
How did you do the distortion at 1:39?
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
This track is heavily based on Virtual Riot's "I heard you like polyrhythms", which gave me much inspiration to make this. This is super experimental, so it's not for people who prefer a strict melody, lol
watch the showcase here (spoiler: it's satisfying) : https://youtu.be/QwYN5zpOalk?si=LC2kEALstJ84aAvo

A whole bunch of flangers and hyperchorus on it haha
I feel the drum and bass conflict and don't mesh with the instruments
This is a fair point. It was a really experimental track after all, so yea. The original version has a beat that is way more layed down (virtual riot's version), so that might be more for you
You should keep the kickass beat going instead of nulling it on the first part, make it a part in the background that is muted but still there, because it really gives the feeling of out-driving a nuke on your super-bike, AKIRA style.
Poly-anythings- not just polyrhytms are heavily under and unused yet have such potential to make a surreal or unbelievable scene come alive. What's the piano module called anyway?
Because a harpischord or traditional Harp would go well with it if you can somehow include it. Like a fuse from the background to the forefront, leading up to when shit goes REAL.
Middle part especially makes it easy to imagine the dude wall jumping off of blown apart flying chunks of Main road asphalt, trying to reach shelter or the epicenter of said blast.
Do more of these, they are baller.
