The Dragon Riders of Dalfaria-El-Vay, protectors of the realm -- officially named The Dragoon Legion.

With 5000 troops, based in 3 massive fortresses in a triangle around a massive town where most of their families are protected.

They are the most vital legion of the empire and only ones to have mastered dragon riding and in battle they often fly low scooping up enemies with chain nets attached to the dragon wings and dropping them on cliffs.

The legion is often sent to stop wars from even starting, by ruthlessly cutting off the head of whatever snake is about to

emerge from the ruthless shadows.

With a strict code of honor and rules, which leaves little room for forgiveness, they are forced to execute their own from time to time to make sure their standards are upheld.

Their main weapons are magic infused fire bombs and abnormally long katana-like blades.
