Hello everyone! Feeling deja vu? So I decided to remake Farewell because it initially wasn't very well made. I decided to put more time into it and really give it the love it deserves.

Speaking of love, this song did not love me. It fought me every step of the way, with one issue after another. Though, I got there in the end. It still has a few quirks here and there, but none big enough to make it unlistenable (for everyone other than me). As I get the energy, I'll try to polish up the dents a bit but I am nearly 2 songs past this, so who knows when I'll come back to it.

In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy it! This probably has to be the longest project I've ever made, beating Descent into Madness by 30 seconds xd.

For those who didn't get to see my original Farewell, I'll quickly get you up to speed. So back in April my grandfather's funeral was live-streamed to the family on YouTube. While at the funeral I kept slowly devising this melody in my head. Afterwards, I wrote it down and later turned it into a song. I was extremely busy at the time so I somewhat rushed the song, and its quality reflected that hard. So now I decided to remake it and give the melody what it deserves.

Don't worry, I am fine now. The death didn't hit me as hard as some others, but it still hurt. In the previous version, I asked to not receive feedback, but I encourage any feedback on this! I also want to mention that this was actually created before Happy Times. I had to completely halt working on this because you guys were awesome enough to get me to 420 far sooner than I had ever thought. Then I moved on to remaking Joy to the World for the Christmas in July Collab :). So uh, procrastination hit me hard with the final stretch of this song.

For those of you who listened to it all the way through, you'll notice that the end feels somewhat unfinished. As if there's supposed to be this big climactic orchestral section singing the melody. Well uh, for symbolism's sake, I decided it was more fitting to leave the song unfinished. An abrupt ending, to symbolize what the song is about.

Anyway, I hope you like it! Another song is very close on the horizon and I am very excited to show you my interpretation of Joy to the World :)
