This song took forever to manifest. At first, it was a straight forward rock song. Then I removed the guitars and dubbed in distorted basses. Then I added an electronic outro, but that became the only part of the song I was proud of. It entered production limbo for some time until I played it in reverse while messing with video files. An idea was born, and I tweaked it with the reverse nature in mind. All it took to finish it was rearrangement and some synth chords over the backwards melody.

It became a Heligotrope release because at the time, Dreams Of Incarnadine had nothing like this in its catalogue, and I figured I had nothing to lose.
