So here I am, broke, about to be jobless yet again, and soaking wet from canvasing in the rain. It is Friday 13th, 2019 and we are about to lose the election of a lifetime. I never fully recover. Neither does the country.

This song is about that. We wanted it to shred like Jeff Rosenstock, so I played the trumpet for this one even though I hadn't done it since school. That's why the album took so long; trumpet is hard.
