No idea why this one doesn't have more plays
I've dropped it several times in my sets and it always goes off!

(Originally released on March 11, 2022)
Track 3 from Novatone's Orbit 17: Complextro, Vol. 2. Not exactly a great representation of my current style but I still feel proud of it for multiple reasons. I hadn't found my desired vibe back then. This was a stepping stone to the kind of music I do now. Even though I feel like I could do better and there are some dated production choices such as my sidechain preference, it's one of my most well-produced songs from that year.
Gear Information:
Made in FL Studio 20. Mixed on Philips Bass+ headphones. Mastered with GClip. Notable synths include Sylenth1, SERUM, iZotope Iris 2, Spitfire LABS and TruePianos. Also using the Kontakt library Fayez Saidawi Oriental Strings. Contains many royalty-free sounds from Vengeance Sound and MusicRadar. The intro groove, for example, is based on a chopped up Vengeance Analog Drums Vol. 1 loop. There's a lot of iZotope Trash 2 usage, which was a common trend for me that year. It's one of my favorite plugins, but I don't use it as much now.
Cover Art Notes:
Contains a royalty-free photograph by Leonardo Ramos sourced from Unsplash. I drew the sphinx, which can definitely be seen in how janky and plain it is. I've improved very little since, which is why I hardly draw on my cover arts nowadays.
Buy a lossless version (and the full compilation) here. Proceeds go to Save The Music Foundation.
...or alternatively, buy it here to support me directly instead.
