At a bar in the middle of the night, a mighty-looking stranger judges the cabaret silently. As he's about to leave, an interesting act catches his eye. This man is no ordinary stranger. He's a Prince that has come straight from Hell, on a quest to please himself. What did he see that brightened up his mood? It's up to you to find out.

Track 1 from Novatone's Orbit 19: French Touch. This is my second most notable release of 2022 and one that really shaped the rest of my music from this point forward. Taking inspirations from both French house labels Roulé and Crydamoure, as well as many nods to specific tunes like Colossus and Wrath of Zeus, I made my own French house song by the book, with modern reservations. Vocals were provided by Flixamon. Special thanks to aephyn for introducing him to me.

Made in FL Studio 20. Mixed on Philips Bass+ headphones. Mastered with GClip. Notable synths include Sylenth1 and SERUM. Used mostly stock effects except for oeksound soothe2. The main sample is made out of royalty-free samples and loops from Vengeance Sound, Zero-G, Big Fish Audio and Splice, notably Sounds of KSHMR. Drum samples by Vengeance Sound and Goldbaby. FX by Mutekki Media and Vengeance Sound.
