Following the attrition that persists in the Great War, the last hope of a fallen empire approaches the entrance to the labyrinth under the invocations of sorcerers. The infernal music box plays its fateful melody under the chorus of initiates.

The entrance to the labyrinth is a graveyard where dreams have hidden to die, and under the horror of an inevitable demise, the hero passes through the death chamber where a first duel against nightmarish forces in the service of the Great Corpse-lord begins.

Reality is torn asunder by the distortion of time and space under winds whistling through the ether. After the void manifests itself, the box echoes its lament before giving way to the drums of war before a new ordeal, the duel against the hive that tries to absorb the hero in its powerful denial of self.
