Remember Anxiousbreaks, the song I made inspired by a war underground that everyone gave a shit about for some stupid reason? Well this is the spiritual successor to that song. But now the enemy has gone to the surface, dug some trenches, and now got some GUITARS! (and I guess some deadly mixture of chemicals as well, but no one really dies from that right?)

Decided between some weird mixture of complextro basses, fast ass breaks, hard hitting snares, and acid bass(because mustard gas), all of which are compressed to fucking hell and back, but then I found a pretty epic guitar sample and decided to add that into mix somewhere near the mid-end of the song. I of course added my own twists on the song with some bitcrush for slight VGM vibes, and I couldn’t help but add the Vengeance sample along with some scratches. I guess atmospheric DnB is also sorta in this since one of the sections is really just ambience with some breakbeat, with a pad at some point to add variety lol.

I actually started this song like, a month ago, but due to school, and songs such as Along the Waves and Wildflowers 2 it got held back. Made in 15 and a half hours total, possibly my best DnB song yet!

… and no, just cause I stack snares at some points doesn’t mean it’s Breakcore XD. I was kinda inspired by some of @Waterflame’s older songs, and I feel some @Djjaner snuck in as well, and decided to incorporate some of those styled snares into the track, honestly, it’s pretty cool!

ZaMn... This is true gas right here

nice, i like it :)

Catchy stuff! The eerie, low-pitched drone at the beginning sets the scene nicely, and the fade-in with the drums was a nice transition. I think the drums could've been a bit louder relative to the bass and other synths, and also the synths could've used some more "pizzazz" with some additional mixing effects or layering. The texture sounds pretty thin right now for most of the piece, although I do like how you switch up the lead riff pretty regularly. The busy drum patterns give the piece a pleasing sense of continuity despite all the variety. I still think the composition could've been a bit bolder with some more melodic elements, or maybe some mid-range pads to balance out the thin, staccato-y synths. But overall, this is a solid track. Some gritty, danceable beats that you bookend nicely with strong atmospheric content. Keep it up, CF24! ^_^

Creeperforce24 responds:

I can understand all your critiques, but I was sorta going for a less melodic tune and a more atmospheric song! In fact! @Waterflame has actually made some songs that don’t really have a specific melody and mainly focus on breakbeat and rhythm! A good example? Heavy machine rhythm(rythm)
