my first submission for the sunvox 2025.02 compo! the rules stipulated a maximum filesize of 4 megabytes; this entry comes around 1 kilobyte short of the limit
the only samples are the two vocal samples, kick, and snare (all made by me). everything else is entirely synthesized in the project file, including piano, strings, and choir, as well as the dubstep basses and sound effects

Dude your sound design just blows me away… like I can’t even dream of how you would go about making these sounds on SunVox, with NO SAMPLES?? The dark major chords add some tension to the song very nicely, on the compositional side— the introduction of the choir is very subtle as well, very neat.
But the growls and devilish fills really steal the show for me, this is some of the sickest dubstep you’ve ever done and I hope it places high in the competition!
