Actually I just wanted to recreate a badass drum I heard yesterday, then things got lost... as usual XD I worked hard on this Beat, but it took less time to make than my others. It seems I finall get used to it. I exported it about 6 times to compare audio quality on nonFL Player. I did my best to mix it up as good as I could, but there are still two spots where the bass is a bit too heavy `\o_O/ยด The Udu and the Drums hit the Subs hard sometimes, so be aware ;)
I used many african samles here as you can hear...
- african wooden Instruments
- african drums
- some Udus (which have an awesome significant sound)
- self created oldskool snare ( I'm pretty pround of it ^o^ )
- automated filter
I put about 5 hour of work in this piece (which is very suprising to me) I worked with a very basic 16 bar setup made out of 10 channels on 15 pattern. 3 different FX are in use, speed is 128 bpm.
Enjoy... and gimme some criticism =_=

Yo this is my first real Track if I may call it like that, I tried to be as different as usual HipHop sounds like and this came out! I got into the african Style cause I just got some nice wild unique Effects and Instruments I wanted to use. Thanks!

I guess I'm always on the experimenting way while makin Beats, being different is what defines us today.
totally original
if nothing else could be said for it at least that
i really love the drums, at first i was thinking that it would suck to rap on, but the more ;layered the drums became the better it sounded
i think u took a huge experimental risk on this and it payed off
4/5
Yes now that you name it XI I see the problem, it was not really made for lyrics, but it would still I guess with the right rap style on it. Its more for the unstructured and unbounded style, more the "speaking with rythm" thing than a strong structured and strict rap you can often hear today :/ It was more entertaining as itself then build up for vocals on it... But I like going the experimenting way XD
Very nice!
Hey man, very nice piece! I can see this in the opening of a big movie. Actually, if I ever get into flash ( which is a big possibility once i start school ) I would want to use this piece. Great work man, keep it up!
XD Hey I would be very proud iof it! Maybe I'll see it in your flash someday ^^

Yeah I know the filter was random bu I wanted to use it one time and I just didn't know where else to put it in, I wanted to make a unique beat with instruments no one ever used before (I guess), and it came out pretty good X)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
