Serenade of Storm (DEMO)

Author Comments

I recently read someone in a review say that the Song of Storms does not mix with the Classical genre. With this song, I am attempting to convince people otherwise.

I began composing this just over an hour ago, and here is what I have so far. Don't give me crap about a bad ending, because *It is not finished!* I am still working and trying to figure out where to go with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and I used a bit of another Zelda song for the intro. See if you can figure out which one it is! :P

Thanks for listening, you guys are awesome!
~Blaze

EDIT: I just tagged on a temporary ending because people told me it was too abrupt. THIS IS NOT THE REAL ENDING! The song is unfinished and I will be continuing it. :P

EDIT2: I just added more to it. A bit of a climax, actually. It is here that I am severly stuck. Again, the ending is just temporary and will be fixed. Any advice on how to finish this would be great!

EDIT3: Yes, it's all coming together! >:-D [Insert sinister laugh here] I'vr beefed it up, extending it by about 30 seconds. I repeated some sections (but with variation), changed some tempos and tampered with dynamics. Here is what I have so far. Still need to figure out an ending though. :/

EDIT4: Yeah, lots of edits, but it's a work in progress. Sue me. :P Someone on another website suggested that the left hand line was too simple. This time I've added a bit more to the bass line as the song progresses. Nothing overly fancy, but a few change ups to add interest and contrast. There is still a bit of "popping" in the louder parts, but I don't know how to fix that in FL.

Simply divine....

I know Im a bit outta the loop, but was this ever finished? If so where could I find it? Just this demo alone was simply wonderful. You have quite the talent sir, use it to its full capacity.

BlazingDragon responds:

Yes sir, it is here on my nrewgrounds page! Here is the link:

Thank you for the kind words. :)

I love it....

10/10. Simply amazing....a pure delight for any Zelda fan.

It's good to see that "Remixing Zelda music" means more than "tossing in a violent bass beat or a bunch of techno crap" to somebody besides me. Really good work here.

^_^

BlazingDragon responds:

That is an excellent way of putting it! A lot of remixes are so generic...I think it is important to put in a dash of originality. :) Thanks!

YES.

I absolutely love this, the piano is beautiful.
I've only just started listening to your stuff and its great.

Thank you.

BlazingDragon responds:

Try listening to the full version, and thank you for your review. :)

Blaze, you continue....

You continue to amaze me. I am a oober big zelda fan, and dare I say, YOU MADE IT BETTER. I thought all of the Zelda tracks were very well done but yet again you've shown me your skill always surpasses others. But I do give it an eight because the piano was a bit random. Try to still stay true to Zelda!

BlazingDragon responds:

I see what you mean. It is pretty different from the original for sure.

Amazing

This has to be your best work yet. You never cease to amaze me. I hope you finish this song soon.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you, but I already *did* finish it. :D
