Hey guys! Nav here, cool new track coming. Originally I decided to make a breaks track with hoovers and acid, but I ended up extending it.

It's got some electro influences, and Ebbomega, someone I know from another forum, suggested I rip off the name "Zdarlight" and name it "Zdarkness." I think it fits well.

Too lazy to put in stats :P

Enjoy! :)

kk this response is too short please add more

Hmmmmmmm

Your stuff is too weird for me lol.
And yes, I do have somewhat of an opinionated based review style.
That's what leaving a good review is all about, deal with it.

Ok so the intro starts kind of trancy, that wide sounding bass is ok but its weird.
Then it gets like electro breakbeat ish then it gets trancish again...
Then that low sine-line square thing comes in and that's cool I guess.
Acid Arp thing is ok but kind of random and weird/gets to high for me.
Hoovers are good but annoying lol.
That instrumental-like bit in the middle (starting at around 1:50) is nice.
That phat sounding organ thing is cool.
The kick's DB is kinda too high though.
The low frequency? bgish square is a nice add.
Like how it picks up from there until that bit stops then that weird and annoying acid sound comes in lol.

Good:

1) Squares, love your squares. Squares, squares, squares.

2) Main drums are neat.

3) FX are good but kind of weak.

4) Phat organ is cool.

5) The instrumental-like breakdown/build up in the middle is nice.

Bad:

1) Kick's DB is overpowering at times.

2) Acid Arp thing gets too high for my tastes at times.

3) Kind of a random song besides that middle part.

4) Intro is like really trancy or something idk.

5) Arp's melodie is annoying, you use it way to much.

3/5 - Meh, this is good but I don't care much for it.

Don't leave me some smart ass response just take the damn criticisms. I don't care if this will help you improve on your stuff or not lol, its my opinion.

Kind of a shitty review I know, I'm tired as fuck.

Nav responds:

Good reviews are not completely about opinions.

Anyway thanks for reviewing. You probably don't want to hear my response anyway, as it "this song is older, I've gotten better since then".

So crunchy, I'd eat it for breakfast

That bass was sick.

The song was a little too simple for my tastes, considering for the first minute it was nothing but bass and drums, however the drums were VERY clear and well mastered (So was the bass).

The acid synths you used (the 303) were appropriate, but the melody was a little boring. They fit well however, and I loved the vocals you threw in with them around 1:40.

As for the next part of the song, where you introduce the prettier arpeggiated melody, and the pads, I have the exact opposite problem, the melodies were much better, however the synth you used did not really bring out the impact they could have had haha.

I must say though, all in all, the song had a sweet vibe, and it was very well mastered. Good job! 5/5 to help keep it popular. :-)

Nav responds:

Thanks! DJ Nosebleed and I are working on another song of this style :), I'll let you know when it comes out!

Wow...

That sounds awesome...
The melody is snappy and memorable, and the beats sound banging too...
I think the soft melody gets just a tad repetitive, but then it changes again, and the song has enough variation to keep it interesting.

Pretty epic IMO!

Nav responds:

Thanks! :D

Once again...

AMAZING!!! Keep the songs coming man :D

Nav responds:

Thanks! :D
