Fail?

Fail? No way. All you have to do is not pay attention to it to much. It is essentially background music. Not the kind of stuff you put on your mp3 player, but the kind of stuff you listen to in the menu in a game, or in a level. Not a boss battle thought, cause I tend to pay more attention to the music in boss battles.

hmmm im just a beginer too..(since january) anyways the guy below saying FL core stuff is bad. i disagree. i mean u just gota know how to adjust the sounds and use the right filters in the FX channels to make em sound good like the famous "neXus". i prefer 3xosc because u can make so much shiet with it lol.

btw doesnt sound like techno lol more heavy metal

anyways i can see your just a beginner kind of like me so im just going to say soemthings that helped me make music.. well so far i know that using the FL core sounds are just terrible, i reccomend you getting some different VSTS which are things like nexus, vangard, and z3eta+. experiment with those and try making melodys with them.. those things helped me make something for the first time that sounded decent to my tastes =P. my first song was actually refracted and if you take a a listen its super repetitive but the melody isn't that great but i think its decent.. i also tried to play my computer keyboard like a actual piano just to see how some notes sound good and notes that just sound pretty bad. The best thing i recommend is to play around with the keyboard and see if something sounds nice, and if you dont know how to put the notes you played into FL studio you can record your actions and see the actual notes to make them seem more in sync, i hope this helps. Nifty...

I like it. Simple and straightforward. I kinda think it would go well in a side scrolling space shooter, but that is just me. I could kill me some alien baddies to this! :-D

I do think you could maybe make this closer to a minute long, and vary it slightly. Cause if this repeated every 0:30 seconds in a video game, it would grow old quickly. Maybe you could add some strings to it as well. Just a thought.

4/5 and 9/10 overall, because it is almost there. But even for a loop I find it a bit short. I think loops should be about a minute long. But then again, just my opinion, take it or leave it as you will. :-)
