"When I began working on this track I had to alter my concept of a 'remix' as there was certainly no way to 'improve' upon the original; it is as it was meant to be. Also as an ambient track there was no singular melody from which to build a framework. Instead I attempted to focus on reinterpreting the atmosphere the track created and lifting a few identifiable elements to recreate. This track share some similar textures to the previous track in the original versions, so I later reused samples from this track in the previous, Penitence, when I began working on that."
