Vocals better than music
I think the vocals are the best part. The music is fairly un-spectacular, but the vocals have a unique quality to them. Keep writing, singing and recording, you'll have great success.

That people really focus on the vocals on most songs. People want to hear the perfect singer. Your voice is fine here and don't listen to what anyone says about it killing the song. This song is great and should be treated as such.
The guitar is nice too. I've always been a sucker for the acoustic :)
