Something I've been meaning to do for a while now.

I'm not proud of it, didn't turn out the way I thought it would. Didn't get the right tone, and it -may- sound a little off-key because I didn't tune my guitar before recording this. I also messed up at some points, blah. I hate improvising.

I probably went overboard with reeverb, too.

Whatever.

You review me, I review you. Please ASK for a review back though, I feel unmotivated to do so otherwise.

Its out of tune yeah

...But sounds freaking good, you got a movie scene right there, nice work, keep it up, feel free to check out my tunes too.

GronmonSE responds:

Thanks, man.

Reviewed one of your tracks. I said "picking technique" instead of "fingering" because the latter thing sounds wrong if y'know what I mean ;P But yeah, I knew you weren't using a pick.

Thanks again.

Okay, let's review this

I didn't think there was too much reverb, I just think the partial swells in the underlying chord progression (was is starting to feedback?) kind of ruin the feel. There's a couple of times where it just gets too noisy with those notes, but generally it's pretty good.

This is ambient, and the overall effect works. However, you need to completely eliminate that feedback/swell effect I mentioned earlier to make this truly great.

GronmonSE responds:

As I told you on MSN, I'll try to fix it up sometime.

Thanks for the review :D

Keep on...

Keep on working on it... It might get to sound good. Hey, try to adapt it a bit so that it makes us feel hopeful...

Well done.

GronmonSE responds:

Thanks for the review, I reviewed back :D

Where's the bass hiding?

Oh, I see - right back in the corner of that black hole. I couldn't percieve it to luminal distortion. :)

So, you should get some more thumping and humming into it. Not an easy task, I know because I'm the same way with it.

GronmonSE responds:

I didn't want the bass to be predominant, but I guess I could have made it stick out a bit more.

Thanks for the review.
