A friend wanted me to make a beat/song... since we both love music, so i through some shit together, with inspiration from a song by One Republic; Apologize.

I like it, but for a hip-hop track it needs a defineable hook and verse structure. With a bpm of about 140 I would say that this is more of a dnb track.
Pretty good melodies, and it's progressive, which is always good for a hip-hop track instead of a 2 bar loop for days.
However, I think hip-hop needs more rhythm and bass. Always more bass.
But I guess that's just my opinion.
I totally agree! I LOVE BASS. hmm... I guess I gota look up what hooks are, and verse structures lol. Thanks for recognizing the melodies (^_^) that's my fav part cuz I cud make anything up.
