thank you.
i think this song is simply fantastic. i found it some time ago, and have had days where this looping didn't leave my stereo. as far as chilling at my desk goes. this is the /perfect/ background music.
again, thank you. :)
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
The name I originally left up to a large quantity of friends and contacts to come up with something they felt was fitting. After be abysmally dissatisfied with things like "Bear Attack" and "Unglued Shoes" (while weird just is not suitable) I stuck with the abreviation of the original mp3 demo track. "Come Up With A Not Idiot Name for this" dropping 'for this' so it read more smoothly.
Plenty of work went into this, not 100% complete (maybe 98% in terms of labor).

You'll be pleased to hear that while I have not made any imediate changes to this, I still have plans for re-doing the mix, removing clipping from the song, and from the render, aswell as do a bit of clean up on the song overall.
I can't tell you when that will happen exactly but I'll make sure you get a PM with some info regarding DLing a high quality version.
Fear my letters!
Way too many songs like this around. This kind of tone is getting common. One thing I notice was that the bass is kind of weak. Your musical choice was pretty good after that.
At five minutes, this song fits my general length appreciation bill.
It is catchy, and enjoyable, but it could still use a little work, as stated.
You get a nine.
Good Mood!
Overall mix does lack back upon listening to it again. This song will be updated.
I'm a bit unsure what you mean by "this kind of tone is getting common", I'd appreciate it if you elaborated on what "this tone" is specifically, and if you could give me a few examples demonstrating that so that I can understand more closely what you mean this songs aspect of 'common'ness.
Thanks of course for giving a listen and reviewing.
Cool
ok your songs i listen too seem to be getting better
this one is cool
the little sounds are awesome
the only thing that stops me from giving you a higher score is the bass....rather dull
the vocoded vocals are top notch
Woah, some very strange song.
Hi IO,
This is going to be a very bad review because umm miscellaneous music basically means anything goes. I can't criticize you for not sounding like any particular genre. Hmm, okay here is my review based on my biased taste.
1) The weird 1st instrument kinda got annoying with all the oscillation. It does add to the weirdness factor...assuming weirdness = good for miscellaneous stuff. I wish the instrument was a bit more clear rather than soo blurry/muddy like.
2) 6 seconds the instrument sounded quite mellow. The pattern seems to be well thought of. I just noticed the drums. Really neat idea with using all those drum sounds.
3) Now I'm at 1:06 and getting a bit bored. 1:!3 I didn't feel like the new instrument played much of a role...until the silent break.
4) I agree with wyldfyre1. This song is original. I don't think it's crazy thought, just weird. Why did I even comment about this?
5) 3:14 very cool with the messed up panning. Sounds so random that it is actually neat. I hardly ever say that. You got some like different ethnic styles of music all mashed into one. Great job with the modulation. My ears are warped now because of this part. Thanks for that.
Well I'm sure you must be quite good at automation now after making this song. I would not listen to this song on a radio, but in a mellow noir movie this song might just work. Quite an interesting blend of instruments. Kudos on the drums. That was your best compositional part. I don't know what else to say. You confused me now. Umm 5/5 and 9/10. Just was not my taste of music.
Bye for now
Miscellaneous music does in a sense mean anything goes, however I don't make music trying to fit it into some genre, which commonly annoys me on NG since most of my music while is closest related to ambient or trance, is simply something way different, while maintaining an electronic medium.
At 1:13 the new instrument is actually vocoded lyrics.
3:14 was not intentional, the large variety of effects just ended up doing that, so I left it since I liked it.
3:50 is more vocoded synthetic speech singing, however cut immensley to form just vowel sounds and let slip the odd word.
Not your taste of music? I often try to imagine a room full of people with my music playing. I highly suspect violence would occur long before dancing of any form. :P
Thanks for dropping the review.
Very crazy.
The style is damn crazy but its original you don't hear that much like this here on NG these days and for that you get mad props! Being that i'm tired i can't think of much else to say so...yeah! Good work!...yah! LOL
Wyldfyre1
Don't worry about thinking of 'much else to say', the recognition, or understanding of a unique piece is enough to satisfy. Its rare on NG.
