This is a song I made for someone on request. They needed an ambient song for a school project, and it needed to be in a minor key. I want you guys to tell me what comes to mind when listening to this song, or what kind of mood it gives you. Constructive criticism is always welcome as usual.

This gives me a damn good image.
Its kinda like if a ship is out exploring in space, just kinda chillin. (in my head, the focus is on the front). Then the focus is shifting around a planet, and on the other side, it looks like some crazy stuff has been goin on. Either some kind of biological thing, or just blown up. Then it pans out and the song stops when you see the same has happened for the ship you started out with. Sweet.
I think it's cool how this song gives you an image. That's what ambient music is supposed to do, along with emotions. Thanks for listening, mate!

This song has a perfect title...
As someone has previously stated this does remind me of Donkey Kong Country (the cave levels), but I'm also going to take it a step further. This song also makes me think of Metroid Prime. It has that sense of being alone on some desolate planet and you wanting to go explore and find out what happened or where you are. The ending has me kind of stumped though. When it speeds up it sounds as though whoever is exploring is in danger (like being chased down by something) and then he/she gets caught and/or dies.
Can I please use this for a game I'm creating? It would fit so perfectly.
You hit the nail right on the head my friend! I wasn't exactly thinking of Metroid Prime, but the scenario you got from this is actually very, very similar to what my idea was for the song. The ending is actually supposed to signify the discovery of something. Although that "something" is left for interpretation. I'm really glad you enjoyed this and thanks for the great review. You can also use this in your game. Just please keep me updated. People who wish to use my songs don't seem to enjoy keeping me in the know haha.
