now that i think about it, turn down the vocals just a tad and it would help bring out that wonderfull bassline more,

This song is about a lonely alien who is the only one on his planet. The verses of this song are a letter that he is writing to earth. The rather short chorus, is the "moral" of the story, and it basically is just that in all the movies, everyone is so scared of aliens and they assume that they are smarter than us, as well as pure evil. I was just saying, "maybe they are just really lonely...?"
