Not to bad...

This is, overall, a great piece to sit back and enjoy, let memories flood you mind.

One thing I had trouble with was with the first 1/2 of the song up until 3:00. I honestly, truthfully thought it was very slow and boring. I know, I know, its supposed to be a very moving, very emotional period of the song but its a bit too long in my opinion. I'm not downplaying the artist in anyway. My suggestion would be to bring the upbeat, charming music at 3:00 a little sooner. Everything else after 3:00 was amazing. It took my breath away. Great job, keep up the amazing work!

Ho man, is this a late response. Sorry that one slipped past me by... like... three years.

In retrospect, I'm actually of a mind to agree with you. The first half was kind of dull, but that's not necessarily the writing that's at fault - I had a poor grasp of how to put expression into a MIDI back when I wrote this. To be totally honest, I've been meaning to go back and do a new version of this for a while now. Maybe a choral edition, or just a plain old redux with everything I've learned since then, or maybe with a banjo ensemble or something else kind of nuts, I don't know.

But anyways, thanks for the review, fatloot! :D

first time in a long time i log into newgrounds and happen to go to my favorite artist list and see your name there :) and as ive said in reviews in the past, your music is still fantastic, it still conveys rivers of emotion that sweep away the listener into the world of the song you created. wonderful work on another song that i shall be falling asleep to tonight at the ungodly hour of 4 in the morning... geez i should sleep lol. well anyways thank you for another great work of art.

Hey this is really good and soothing I definitely need it on my mp3. Anyway I'd like to give a long and constructive review but I have to do my homework now >.<
Anyway this is really good and I like the title and the stuff you put in the comments cause' alot of people feel alone so it touches tons of people I think that's also why it's so successful..
