Reviewing as I go:
Like the beginning, though I think the...I want to say string?...synth did overpower the melody a little too much, and was perhaps a little too loud again when the piano came in, I would have preferred it if it had dropped a few decibels by then. Or to have the piano louder. Anyway:
Addition of the bass is a nice touch, it's got a few unexcpected notes which add to the kind of mystery you've got in the piece.
I really like this piece in general, you've got some good ideas, but I think the more melodically interesting things (such as the piano) in general get drowned a little too much in the other synths and the bass.
The synth at 2:30ish was a little unexpected, perhaps too much so. But the very end when it cuts out again and just leaves the one synth worked reaaally well, which was the good kind of unexpected. This is a good piece, but I'm giving you a 7 to try and strongly encourage you to take another look at the levels of all the instruments ;). Very nice work, though.
