My review, your song.

I'm going to state quite blatantly that while this uses 'real' instruments, its not orchestral, sounds like a typical cookie-cutter trance song.

Intro rev cymbal works.

Pulsing strings is alright.

Woodwind instrument has a neat tongue-ing sound to it. I'd have liked to have heard it carry the melody. (Post listening thought, I'd like it to carry a different melody then whats currently here.)

Piano comes in playing same melody with a slight variation.

Orchestral drums come in doing a timbre heavy beat.

So far the song is purely layering of the same melody with various bits and pieces of accompaniment.

1:31 Feels like things are going to start rolling, its pretty layered at this point.

I notice the song time... its nearly over.

Overall;

Sounds are of good quality, mix on the instruments is odd, for example piano playing in C5-C6 range shouldn't have more bass then brass instruments.

Nothing about this is written in an orchestral fashion, it just loops and loops adding a small new piece one at a time. I felt like this could have built up to something quite cool, but it just deflated at the end.

Needs melodic diversity.

very nice UNTIL

it starts off very nice until that annoying flute comes in at 25. after that, it's good again
the flute just ruins it
it's too loud and too forced.
and it's not in time
then when the cymbals come in, it gets REALLY out of time

work on your timing kid
that's what's bringing this piece down
and try not to force your air into the flute. it sounds forced and that just makes it sound nasty
7/10 and 4/5 because it's good, but has room for improvement
