I dont think it sounds that mechanical, it really is awesome. In no way does it deserve a 9. I agree that it is so much tougher to make piano, bass, drums, saxaphone, sound real when make elec music, but this was done well concidereing. Unless you record you wont get the perfection...

this was very professional though. I love the tune, Who really cares about mechanicalizmm anyway if it creates a good atmosphere.

it sounds very mechanical, you should work with other elements like change of pace, velocity and breakdowns.
one can really hear your inexperience, but its okay, im sure youll get better!

for now, just for the sake of realism, slow it down, you can speed up later in the song. also reconcider the velocity of each individual key and their overal relation..

apart from the simplicity its arranged pretty good..
