almost every zelda game ive played has this toon it probley my favorite tune next to song of storms
My re-imagining of Legend of Zelda III's score to Kakariko Village. More remake than remix. Orchestrated with a few layers added. Composed entirely in Reason 4.0. Not perfect, a few timing issues, but I'm considering re-doing this at some point with East West Orchestra... which will sound pretty sweet :)
Hope you like.
PS. I hope I'm not the only one wishing that Nintendo would step up and use some better soundbanks. The great compositions are let down by really outdated sounds. If I can do with with software under £200, what the hell are Nintendo using???

Certainly is one of the more iconic Zelda tunes. Nothing, hits me like the original SNES version when you first enter the village. It's not the same experience without the SNES' soundchip, but it's a nice versatile theme. You might like some of the excellent tracks done over at OCRemix. Check it out when you get a chance...
I'm in awe
This sounds amazing mate. I'm speechless.
Thanks man! I think sometimes, if you just get a few key elements right, the song track almost develops itself if you know what I mean; think that pretty much happened with this one!
Great job
This was a really nice remix of the Kakariko Village theme from Zelda,i loved the instruments that were used to make it sound like an updated version of the original song and the quality was great, overall you did a very good job on this remix and i enjoyed it. =)
Hey, thanks for taking the time to review. It was exactly as you said; a gently instrumental update. I really wanted to develop it a bit more, but decided to work on another original track in the Zelda vein which you can find here if you liked the style.
Not bad
this sounds great
Thank you :) And thanks for listening. Hope to have some more stuff up soon...
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
