this is just showing my friend Box-Killa what i can do on a piano/keyboard

ima explain this one time...

the first arpegios that the guitar does, i can do those on a piano/keyboard, i could probably do the other stuff, but i just made that stuff in FL, so ive never practiced it, but im sure i could

i can actually do the arpegios like 50 bpm faster than that, but i decided to do it slower for this song

ok enjoy, almost no time went into EQ'ing or mastering

Interesting,

The way you started off I thought the title was a lie but when it kicked in I was amazed at how good it was. As I listened to it it kinda sounds like something you would hear from a RPG style video game. The only thing that got to me was the drums. They just didn't seem to fit in with the song itself. Other then that I say this song is pretty ace.

SessileNomad responds:

lol no one likes the drums

Lol fine i will review.

I really like the opening. Then it transitioned into that bitching guitar part. You did a good job combining the guitar with the piano. I wish it was longer.

SessileNomad responds:

your wish will go ungranted

:)

...

I'm terrible at handling fast solos so kudos mate. I would go into depth on this but I think the review request club has it handled haha. Anyways, If you check your Rithum post I gave a nice little intro tutorial.

Cheers!

lol ok thanks dude

WOAH!

This is brilliant. Lol, when i heard the intro i thought i'd clicked the wrong link but then the fast part blew through my speakers and after i got back up from the ground, i decided to give u a nine for sheer awesomeness.

Like i said, intro was great, but it could've used some more background, maybe some faint strings or something. Dunno, just an opinion.

Main melody was also great, witha good build up leading to it. Nice work.

The drums didn't quite match in some parts and they got a bit repetitive too.

I didn't particularly like the outro though. It cut off too abruptly for my tastes.

overall, nice work but it could use some more...

SessileNomad responds:

yeah outro was real fast cuz i just wanted to get this track over with

i would have added strings, but i have no good string sounds at the moment xD

yeah drums didnt match in some spots cuz i messed up with the time signatures, and im not gona fix it cuz im busy with other tracks :)

glad you liked it though, peace out

SessileNomad

Nice, but would sound better on a real guitar :P

Yeah, I'm not a fan of artificial sounding guitars, because in my opinion they all don't sound very much like a real guitar, but anyway this track is pretty nice. Especially the intro caught me totally off guard. I was expecting something completly different when I read the title "guitar shredding".

It's a nice build up you have until you come to the "shredding" part, which sounds pretty good even though it's not played on a real guitar. ^^

I have to agree with Coop, the drums on the fast shredding part sound a little off. I can't really put my finger on it, but something just sounds or "feels" wrong there.

SessileNomad responds:

yeah i wish i had a more real guitar synth to use, or better yet, i wish i could really shred like that xD
