Has a really Spooky feeling to it.
I love it. Makes me think about cold and misted forests, or maybe army of dolls.
Spooky yummies. All it needs are some diminished chords, and better instrument sounds.

Talk about blast from the past. I had almost forgotten how much I absolutely love this song.
I've recently learned how to master/mix/equalize much better, so I've been taking a break from new stuff and fixing up some oldies. This one, though one of my faves, was low on the list cuz I knew it was going to be a bitch. Here's the updates:
- re-EQ'd EVERYTHING. This was fun. Not using crappy 3-band anymore.
- used a new limiter. Never using the old one again.
- used a new plugin to detect peaking. Absolute necessity in this song. Zero peaking now.
It doesn't seem like much, but it was a project.
[-Update- Nov 2 2009
Heres version two point oh; newly titled 'That Mint Feeling' (I don't know if that will stay, we'll see).
Here's the changes that were made:
- the tone of the piano;t I could only change the presence so much, but I think a lower presence for it is alright, seeing as it's the backup instrument.
- the tone of the guitar; the presence is much greater. I also boosted the delay to make it more pronounced.
- the kick and roll-snare; new samples; let me know what you think of them.
- certain guitar notes; actually changed around some notes to decrease dissonance.
- volume; little less drums and more piano/guitar overall]
[Here's something I need some input on; I don't know if I should continue with it, leave it as a loop, or what. I also don't really have a name for it; comments greatly appreciated!]

Thanks for the input!
Interesting visuals. They actually gave me an idea for a name, thank you!
What I liked about this is that it has a spooky and happy feeling at the same time... I didn't explicitly mean for it to turn out that way.
I will try to have a more distinguished piano and guitar sounds, and switch around the drums a little. I want to keep it a 'guitar and piano duet' though.
Thank you for the review and insight.
Fear the....!
Dissonance!
Few things i can say:
It loops perfectly, and yes this is a big plus on this site.
The melody is nice, to some it might seem a little strange to some with the chord progression. I don't mind it, actually the more i listen to it, the more i come to like it.
The main problem i can think of would be the instrument sounds. It's nit picky, but it can make all the difference. Good work on it =3
Hm yes, I should play around with some of it some more. The piano needs to be needs to be thinned out, and volume smoothed over in some places. Drums needs something too :p
Thanks for the generous score!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
