Cool
Really reminds me of Silent Hill. Especially the start and the end, with the voice stuff.
The guitar is great, it can get repetitive but it doesn't really matter since it sounds great. Good job on this song
Another old song.
This is a very personal song for me, as it reflects what i was feeling at the time.
I've always been fascinated by drone like Sunn((O)), and wanted to see what I could create with just my voice, for the most part, i've only used Gverb, and some pitch modifications on some parts.
Just to inform you, the drone in the beginning doesn't last the entire song.
To record this i used my keyboard, my guitar, and my voice in some parts.
Used Audacity to edit.
Cool

Hmmm...
Call me weird but i find little wrong with this song. It has a very soothing feeling to it, the repetitive guitar for me doesn't take anything away from the song. Simple but effective, and sometimes that's what a song needs. The background sounds, the strings sounds worked really well for this.
The only big problem i heard was there where a couple of peaks in the volume at a couple of the vocal parts.
It may be long, but i'd hope it wouldn't matter how long it is. I like it =3

Thanks :)
This was recorded a couple of years ago, and i was pretty much new to the recording process as a whole, so there's doomed to be some peaks here and there.
I've always like the long lenght, it was a natural part of the recording process, I never thought about the lenght, I just played until it felt natural to stop.
Thanks for the review :)

Dark and mysterious
It's a nice sounding ambient track that gives us an impression of dread and perhaps a little foreboding. I can certainly see this piece having an effect if it were being used in games or movie pieces that had the requirement for larger than life fear.
The main issue with this is the length - you need to cut it down to size if you're hoping to get a more effective piece here. At 7.1 meg, it's going to put off prospective users who may have considered that for their pieces. If you made a slightly more condensed version, say to about half the length and made it loop better, you'd certainly be onto a winner.

Thanks :)
I understand what you're saying about the lenght, and i'll make a note of it, but i'm not sure if i'm willing to change it simply to make it more appealing to people who might consider using it, that's not my main motivation, and in my eyes takes the focus of the song itself, but i appreciate the input, and I can agree that the song is very long.

Good
Isn't the band just called "Sunn O)))"? ;)
Anyway, this creates a really creepy atmosphere and the guitar in the background builds a very nice contrast to this with the calm (yet somehow creepy) melody it plays.
I also like how you slowly transit from the demonish intro to a pretty calm and hopefull ambiente, where we can only hear the guitar and some strings in the background.
The transition back to the demoic atmosphere isn't done so good, in my opinion, it happens too quickly. But on the other hand the song may have been too dragged out if you did this as slow and subtle as you did with the transition from "demonic" to "almost happy".
Also, in the beginning there are some statics noticable. I guess that's because some of the effects are too deep and bassy.

You are 100% correct, it's Sunn O))) :P
I can work some more on the transition at the end when i re-record this song, maybe make it fade in together with the guitar.
Sadly, the static is impossible to avoid, i can limit it, but not get rid of it all together.
Thanks for the review :)

Very nice!
Good ambient and time to get into it!
Great job! :)
