This is a piece that I wrote for my Grandma's birthday. It is called "Romanian Day" but in french. This piece is really quiet but as lot's of different moods.
It is divised into 4 parts:
-Aube: Deep sounds "nature-style" - 0 to 50"
-Matin: A folklorik improvisation on a mode inspired by Bartok - 50" to 3'00"
-Midi: Inspired by Debussy (translucid layers of sounds) - 3'00 to 4'06"
-Crépuscule et Nuit: Inspired by Debussy in the beginning and more By Chopin after. - 4'06" to end

I liked the flow and overall melody of this song. I don't think you have to use the sustain pedal so much though, especially at 3:50 or maybe a fade in sustain would make a more subtle transition. the release on your sustain sounds weird too. I loved the song itself though and really felt the emotion of the piece. Tell your grandma happy birthday.

I used the sustain pedail at 3:50 for a "fog of harmony style". I know the quality of the sound take isn't great, so with a better acoustic you could hear more the "release harmony of the sustain"

I just tryed to use less sustain, and yes it works better. I could re-record it someday.
