This is a pseudo-autobiographical song. Like most of my originals, it has a few layers. Originally, I wrote it while my brother and I were playing out together as Echostar. We used to close every show with a cover of "The Sounds of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel, but we got tired of playing it, at some point. We decided we needed an original with a similar feel, so I wrote this. We never even practiced it though.
