This is great! Sounds high paced, more for a causal battle at extreme speeds, which is not what i usualy see from you. Unique and excelent.
Another request. I was specifically told to compose a battle theme that wasn't "as action-packed as my usual compositions", so this time I had to think simple. But... precisely because of it's simplicity, I wasn't entirely convinced with the finished loop.
Oh well, here it is, anyways.

I like it. One minor detail..
..and I'll leave you with your 10/5. The main melody of the piano at :11 and the support organ might do better a -touch- louder. Just think it blends a little too much with the rest of the instruments. As a final thought, good original battle themes are tough to come by, and I thought the one for this was -superb-. Good job!
Yay!
For something outside your usual scope here, it's not bad at all. I just thought your existing stuff was kind of 'epic-er' than it needed to be- those battle themes sounded more like boss tunes to me. Oh well- maybe it's because I've been working on a simple game far too long. XD
Anyway, I was initially left wondering for the first 10 seconds of the song (it seemed like it wouldn't really fit- I tend to be pickier than I should be here; beggars can't be choosers and all that) but I kept listening and it kept sounding better- even that 'background' part at the beginning. It's probably the looping that makes it less noticeable- the whole song (with looping) sounds a lot more cohesive.
Long story short, I'm extremely happy that you did this- thanks a ton!
Pretty Cool
I really like it. I like how you keep it simple and cool like an old school JRPG with the bass guitar starting it off.
Then it breaks down to the intense part which focuses more on bass then BAM the main melody and stuff comes back in!
Haha gotta love it!
Check me out sometimes. I usually make HipHop beats. But I make lots of JRPG music too.
