Here's something quick I made, I'll work harder on it when I get the time. I actually made this for a game, but I'm not sure if the game-maker wants to use it or not.

This uses East/West Symphonic Orchestra for everything except the drums which are drum samples I downloaded. All the drum beats were made from scratch, no loops. I love making drums xD.

I hope you enjoy it, feel free to use it in your game, but remember that this song is custom-made for a game and there's a small chance it will be used, so by using it, you're being unoriginal :D. Also, don't forget that it's a WiP, so it's not finished yet. Just a small loop as a preview. Finally, don't forget that I respond to every review, the larger your review the larger my response, and review back with a review bigger than life if your review is helpful. Enjoy the loop!

It works

While listening to this I pictured a battle scene from the game Aveyond and it really does sound like battle music! Not much to say for 14 seconds but here it is anyway.

What you have now works very well as long as more comes afterward. This alone being repeated wouldn't work very well, but obviously you know that since it's a WiP. I think you should make some higher instruments have a part later on to make it interesting. You could make another melody later on or keep this one with different instruments, either way would work fine. Lastly, maybe a little faster, maybe.

The backgrounds were really good, as were the percussion and pretty much everything else. Again, I wouldn't change anything that you already have except maybe, just maybe, the speed. The short blasts were a nice touch that I think totally make this work.

You, sir, know how to make battle songs. It could work in any game I've ever played. Nice!

Heh, you still manage to make a good review on just 14 seconds, thanks :D.

Good ideas, especially for the high instruments thing. I'll probably add a pan-flute or something, making this whole thing sound like MGS3 xD. I'll definitely be varying the melodies more too.

Alright, glad you liked it. The short blasts are orchestral hits along with a crash cymbal, I just love adding them in my songs :P.

Thank you :3. Glad you enjoyed it!

Not my fave

Actually gave me a headache......
The strings weren't bad but you're overdoing the whole string thing.......
The percussion wasn't bad either, but It also could use a little work.
Not my fave though......

Step responds:

OK man, this comment is pretty vague. What do you mean by 'the whole string thing'. I only had strings in the background :S.

Also, if you say that the percussion wasn't bad, you could at least tell me how to fix it, in your opinion.

Well thanks for the review anyway.
